From the Ao Nang beach, you can take numerous boat trips to several of the prettiest beaches in the country. Some of them are only 15 minutes away, like Railay and Phra Nang.
Numerous long-tail boats that go back and forth all day as soon as they fill up with passengers.
On the other hand for day trips southwards to the splendid islands of Poda, Chicken, Tub and Phi Phi, and northwards to the Hong island.
The rocky cliffs along the coast of the Andaman Sea are the perfect backdrop for the attractive landscape in this area and also provide an ideal opportunity for rock climbing enthusiasts to pursue their favourite sport.
If possible, we suggest booking a long-tail boat for a private tour. The post offers useful information.
There are also plenty of activities at the beaches: canoeing, snorkelling, scuba diving as well as enjoying a swim in delightfully transparent water.
