The gesture of some Buddha figures invites to stop the fights between relatives, it can be a good time to make an offering looking for inspiration.

Suggestions in Bangkok
» Wat Arun at sunset.
This monastery is always one of the essential visits in Bangkok, but if you feel like giving it a romantic touch, approach at sunset, before 5 pm and stay for a while in the surroundings of the prangs, next to the Chao Phraya River.
If this is the first time, anticipate the arrival at 4 pm to go up to the central tower and visit the rest of the monastery. It is worth it.

It is a statue of phallic aspect that belongs to the Hindu spiritual tradition, linked with the god Shiva. In Thailand, it is propitiated through offerings when you want to increase the family, that is, procreate.
The question is that one of them is located at the Wat Pho, which you will probably visit at your stage in Bangkok.
If you are interested, it is close to the four great stupas. If it is not the time, better not even look at it 🙄.

The most spectacular beach on a cloudy day or with cloudy waters is not the same, which is why it is a good idea to adapt the beach destination to the dates of the trip so that the chances of good weather be higher.
In Thailand there are two coasts, the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. Being brief and taking as reference two very suitable destinations, Krabi (Andaman Sea) and Koh Samui (Gulf of Thailand), our suggestion is as follows:

Officially the change of season for the beginning of the monsoon occurs in mid-May and five months later, in mid-October, a new dry season begins.
However, these are general patterns and monsoons can both be advanced or delayed.
In May, the expectation is not very different between Koh Samui and Krabi, although we prefer Krabi because, in our opinion, if there is luck, the beaches are impressive here.
In any case, advance the stage of the beaches if the trip is long and allows you to approach April (in general, it is better to start in Bangkok and finish on the beaches).
In the month of October there is no big difference to recommend one destination or another. As the monsoons are going to finish, it is convenient to leave the beach stage for the end, as close as possible to November.

Northern Thailand: Chiang Mai, Pai and Mae Hong Son
Chiang Mai is a small city that has ‘something‘ that makes it lovely, a visit of a couple or three full days is highly recommended.

To the west of Chiang Mai, there are two small mountain towns that are worth considering.
Pai is very popular among young people and not so much Mae Hong Son. However, the latter has a lake next to one of the most beautiful Buddhist temples in Thailand and the atmosphere at dusk is pure romanticism.
